- Meet with Jesus frequently – He is your lifeline
- Quiet all the external voices and ask for wisdom – start now getting in the habit of praying about everything
- Talk to your husband often about how you want to parent, what discipline you will use, etc… get on the same page as much as possible now
- Learn about the differences between boys and girls
- Speak life over your babies
- Start praying for their future spouse – remember their mom might be in the same boat you are. What a gift for you to pray for her this whole time and she doesn’t even know it
- Sleep whenever you can for the first several weeks.
- Write down all the things that overwhelm you and whenever a friend asks how they can help actually let them see your list. In the long run, you’ll be grateful you were honest and didn’t try to pretend you had it all together
